Moto G9 Power will launch in India on December 8, the Lenovo-owned company revealed earlier today. The phone is being introduced in the country just over a month after its international debut. As the name suggests, the USP of the Moto G9 Power is its 6,000mAh battery that supports 20W charging. Among other specifications, you get an HD+ screen, three cameras on the back, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.

Motorola announced the India launch details for the Moto G9 Power in a tweet. The tweet also mentioned the phone will be released on Flipkart at 12 noon on the day. Flipkart is already running a teaser page for the phone. The company is also teasing a “never before price” for the phone, suggesting an aggressive pricing for the smartphone. It is sold at EUR 199 (roughly Rs. 17,500) in Europe, and given Motorola’s teasers, the India price of the phone could be significantly lower. The phone is offered in Electric Violet and Metallic Sage colour options.

Talking about the full specifications of the upcoming Motorola phone, it runs on Android 10 and sports a 6.8-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) display. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. Other specifications include 128GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and rear fingerprint sensor.

For the imaging needs, Motorola has added a triple camera setup on the back that houses a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. For selfies, you will get a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture.

As mentioned, the phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. It also comes with USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
