Xiaomi has announced that it is releasing a new variant of its Mi Max 2 smartphone in India. The new variant is mostly same as the previously available version, but it will include 32-gigabytes of internal storage, instead of 64-gigabytes.
According to the Chinese company, the 32-gigabytes variant will carry a price-tag of INR 14,999, but for a limited period, it will sell the phone at just INR 12,999. The first sale of the phone is scheduled for September 20. The Mi Max 2 will be sold via Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
Other specifications of the Mi Max 2 include a 6.44-inch 1080p full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and 5300 mAh battery. In addition, Xiaomi has included 12-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front shooter, fingerprint sensor ad 4G VoLTE support.
New Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A variant on sale in China
In more Xiaomi news, the company has started selling the 4-gigabytes RAM variant of the Redmi Note 5A phone in China. The Redmi Note 5A was originally introduced last month, but until now only the 2- and 3-gigabytes RAM variants were on sale. The new variant has been priced at RMB 1,199 (INR 11,800).
Among other specifications, you will get a 5.5-inch HD display, 64-gigabytes internal storage, microSD card, Snapdragon 435 processor and 3080 mAh battery.
Redmi Note 5A also packs a 13-megapixel rear camera, 16-megapixel front camera, and dual-SIM support.
To remind you, RAM isn’t the only difference between the three variants of Redmi Note 5A now on sale in China. The internal storage, battery and processor are also different.
