Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has introduced a new X-series phone – X1s – in India. The phone has been priced at INR 12,999 and will go on sale beginning September 21.
According to Gionee, the new phone is targeted to the youngsters and will offer great battery life and enhanced selfie experience.
“By launching Gionee X1s we aim to offer our consumers with an outstanding confluence of advanced technology accompanied with enhanced selfie + battery capabilities. We have received a good response for X1 and the aim with the X series is to establish a stronger connect with the younger audience. The X1s brings consumers premium photography and advanced features that goes well beyond the conventional boundaries for this price segment,” said Alok Shrivastava, Director – Business Intelligence and Planning, Gionee India.
Gionee X1s specifications
The smartphone features a 5.2-inch high-definition display, 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor and 4000 mAh battery. Gionee X1s also packs a 16-megapixel selfie camera as well as a 13-megapixel primary shooter on the back.
Additionally, Gionee has packed the usual connectivity options including dual-SIM support and 4G VoLTE. There is 3-gigabytes of RAM, 16-gigabytes of internal storage and microSD card slot on the X1s as well.
