Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad on Thursday announced the launch of its Dazen smartphone brand in India. The company is starting its journey with the release of Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 phones, which will be exclusively available via e-retailer Snapdeal.com.
The new phones will go on sale beginning June 9 and have been priced at INR 6,999 (Dazen 1) and INR 17,999 (Dazen X7). Registrations for the first sale begin later today.
Coming to the specifications, Dazen X7 features a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display and is powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor. The phone also packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, 2700 mAh battery. 4G LTE support and Android 4.4 KitKat with Cool UI.
On the other hand, Dazen X1 is a budget smartphone and sports 5-inch HD IPS display and includes 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 2500 mAh battery and Android 4.4. The smartphone also comes with dual-SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

Coolpad has also stated that it has partnered with HCL for the after-sales service support of the Dazen smartphones.
