Very Limited service of VU. They come install and go. you can never get them to your site easily.
I bought a 40 inch TV from VU on snapdeal. It plays HD movies but does not support DTS format sound files. HD movies downloaded from internet dont play the sound as they have DTS codecs, and this TV doesn’t support that.

This is a rooted version of Android KitKat with SuperSU installed and not an officially supported Android Device.
Best viewed in 720p-60hz.
Purchases from Google Play Movies &TV are not able to play through this TV as Video is coming as blank and only audio and subtitles display. The same movies are playing smoothly on my Motorola Zoom2 Tab and Lenovo Smartphone.
Whenever i switch to the android mode an alert message shows in the notification bar “A bad version of Google Login App”. Not able to get rid of this one.
Support is pathetic, Support Number provided in the Vu site not responding to the calls even at the specified time mentioned at their website (even tried on multiple days) 18002228455
The same TV model without Android cost only Rs.18881/- which is a better buy than this one.
Out of 3 HDMI port one is used for loading Android OS. Out of 5 USBport 2 used for Android OS.
Wireless keyboard is a must and thank god i got the Logitech K400r free with it.
Some special characters cannot be typed through the wireless key board, for that you have you use the inbuilt android soft keyboard.
Existing WiFi broadband and LAN connects very easily. Router needs to be placed in the same room (line of sight) or close by to the TV to get the best signal strength (wireless)
I’m using a TP-Link WR841N router with dd-wrt installed.
While streaming HD movies , every one hour or so you may need to clear the browser cache as video freezes. (I’m using ACT Blaze 20Mbps , 50GB FUP)
MiraCast is very useful and easy.
