Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 arrives in India for INR 7,999
Ten months after the launch of Galaxy S Duos 2 in India, Samsung has released the new Galaxy S Duos 3 smartphone in the country. The phone has been priced at INR 7,999 (MRP: INR 8,590), revealed Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer Mahesh Telecom.
Featuring a 4-inch WVGA display, the Galaxy S Duos 3 doesn’t seem to include any upgrades over its predecessor apart from probably Android version, which is not confirmed at this moment but is expected to be Android 4.4. The phone is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash, GPS, Glonass, 1500 mAh battery, dual-SIM support, 3G and the usual connectivity options. On the software front, Samsung has included support for 14 Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi. The phone is currently available in Black colour option.
The phone is yet to be officially launched in the country but we expect an official announcement in the coming days.
