When all other manufacturers are rushing to release super high-res smartphones with QHD (2560x1440p) display, how can Motorola Mobility be left behind. A pair of CPU-Z screenshots have emerged, which reveal a Motorola smartphone called XT1254.
While the final branding of the XT1254 is unconfirmed, CPU Z has revealed the key specifications of the phone, which will come with a QHD display. The phone will feature 2.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 4G LTE support and Android 4.4.4. Other specifications including the exact display size are unclear but Android Authority notes the phone will come with a 20MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter.
The Motorola XT1254 has also been sighted at Bluetooth SIG, it was certified earlier this month. The SIG listing gives further credibility to the existence to the smartphone.
The CPU-Z screenshots also reveal that this phone is headed to Verizon (at least) and might be a part of the telco’s Droid series. We hope to see more leaks in the coming days to give us other details about the phone.
