Mi 3 flip cover pre-orderWeeks after Xiaomi started selling the Mi 3 smartphone in the Indian market, the company is finally ready to release two of the official accessories for smartphone in the country. E-retailer Flipkart, which exclusively sells Xiaomi products in the country, is currently taking pre-orders for Mi flip cover and Mi screen protector for Mi 3.

Flipkart is stating that both accessories will go on sale in the fifth week of August, which begins on August 25. If you have already purchased an Mi 3 or plan to purchase in the future, you should order the accessories now because given the rush for the smartphone, who knows how long are these going to last on Flipkart.

To remind you, the official MI 3 screen protector costs INR 179, while the flip cover retails for INR 559. Flip cover will be initially available in three colour options – Blue, Black and White.

There is no word on the release of the power banks or the in-ear headset. We hope that those too will be arriving soon in the country.

Thanks Divyansh for the tip

  1. Flipkart sells the phone for a very affordable price but it makes the mistake of overpricing the accessories. I got a pack of 3 matte finish screen guard for my Mi3 for just Rs 200 INR so paying Rs 179 for a single screen guard that too on pre order is a rip off…same case for the case as well..I got a nice original MI Metal case for 399 INR on eBay..so I will not bother looking at Flipkart for this…

    1. official accessories are expensive.
you always have the option to buy other vendor options.

and the Xiaomi pricing of accessories is way better than that of other vendors!

      1. Agreed imdevu official accessories are always expensive however at the end of the day it is one company who had won the contract to make official accessories for the OEM hence it is more expensive however I personally feel there are better options around..anyways where are you based from and can we chat sometime as am a phone geek too..

      2. Yes Javed, there always are better options. I am usually not a cover kind of person, as it ruins the phone feel.

Bought this phone for my mamaji, so bought the cover..

I am based out of ghaziabad, but am currently working in mumbai.. hoping to go back north soon!
