Micromax introduces Bolt A069 with Android 4.4 for INR 5,699

Micromax Bolt A069Micromax has introduced a new Android 4.4-powered smartphone in the country. Part of the company’s Bolt-line-up, the Bolt A069 is now listed at the company website and can be grabbed from the major retailers in Tranquil Green, Pure Grey, Raging Red, Pristine White and Mellow Yellow colour options.

Priced at INR 5,699, the phone features a 5-inch FWVGA display, 1800 mAh battery, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and dual-SIM support. The Bolt A069 also packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 2G Edge support and the usual set of connectivity options.

On the imaging front, Micromax has included 5MP fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front shooter on the phone.

According to Micromax, like its Unite-series phones, A069 comes with support for 20 Indians languages. The phone is also pre-loaded with a number of applications and games like MAD, Kingsoft Office, Hike, Opera, Getit, M! Live, Reverie Phonebook, Reverie Smartpad, Games club, Mi Games, Games: Bounce ball classic, Bubble X Slice and Zombie smasher.

  1. Why do we bother about these 512MB RAM phones. Should not be posting or discussing about these, they are simply misleading people.

    1. Not everybody needs (or can afford) 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 810. A decent big screen is what most people are looking for. To that end, a 5″ FWVGA display ain’t half bad for the price.

      Having said that though, most of us who can afford it will probably look for something with a little better hardware.
