LG G3 all coloursWaiting for LG G3, we have good news for you. The Quad-HD smartphone is now on pre-order at e-retailer Infibeam in the country. The website shows INR 46,990 as the price-tag of the 16GB version and INR 54,990 (INR 49,990) as the price of the 32GB version.

We already know that G3 includes some great specifications and features but still the pricing seems to be on the upside. In the past, we have seen LG being aggressive on the pricing front compared to other manufacturers like Samsung and HTC, but looks like, this time the consumers will have shell out as much as INR 47K for G3 in India. We will still like to wait for the official announcement as the companies sometimes tend to correct the prices, given the release of other products in the market and we hope the same happens with G3.

Coming to the availability, Infibeam has listed July 25 as release date of the phone, so we expect LG to officially unveil the phone in the country around the same time.LG G3 pre-order in India

LG G3 will join Oppo’s Find 7 smartphone (still not available) as the second smartphone to be released with Quad-HD (2560x1440p) display in India. To remind you, G3 features 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 5.5-inch display, 13MP rear camera with OIS+, 2.1MP front camera and Android 4.4. The 16GB internal storage version of the phone comes with 2GB of RAM, while the 32GB version will pack 3GB of RAM.

In addition, G3 includes microSD card slot, 3000mAh battery, and the usual set of connectivity options.

Note: The report has been updated to reflect the new 32GB price after Infibeam changed on its end.

  1. Ya, but will it support the 4G LTE in India, is the big question. Otherwise why would one spend 50k on a phone that is not future proof. For the record, I really like the phone

    1. 4G? who cares….. even 3G services has not covered all major cities in INDIA.
Am fine with 3G services. and no phone is future proof. LG might release a SD805 version of G3 shortly. We cant be regretting for that.

  2. I agree with Shan. 3g has not been all over India till now.
An yes, the fone is not future proff, but surely it will sustain for atleast 3-4 years down the lane
