As we had expected, Asus’ new Zenfone smartphones will retail exclusively (see update below) at Flipkart.com in the Indian market. The full Zenfone line-up – Asus Zenfone 4 A400CG, Zenfone 5 (8/16GB), and Zenfone 6 – apart from Zenfone 4 A450CG is now on pre-order at the e-retailer and the shipping will start on July 12. Zenfone 4 A450CG is still being shown as “coming soon,” but we expect it to become available in the coming days.

Update: Not all Asus Zenfones are exclusive to Flipkart, the e-retailer will be exclusively selling the Asus Zenfone 4 (A400CG & A450CG) models but other Zenfone smartphones will also be available at other retailers.

wud asus zenfones b good in durability and looks? as i want a durable last longing phone.
Asus is one of the absolute best brands in the world of PC and PC components (Motherboards, Graphics Cards, Laptops etc.)
They have researched, designed & manufactured these Zenfone and Padfone devices in-house and are marketing them all by themselves as well. Expect them to be qualitatively as reliable and as durable as their PC’s and PC components.
Also, they already have a well established service network, so as long as they use that for their after sales, you shouldn’t have a lot of problems with that either.
Anecdotally speaking, I’m a long time Asus user myself and touchwood, I’ve never had any issues with any of their products. It’s a tier-1 brand with great quality control. So expect built quality and reliability to be top notch.
Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG (8GB) is at INR 9999 and Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG (16GB) at INR 12999. They are charging 3K for just extra 8GB of internal storage.
In many reviews , they pointing poor battery life which will hardly last one day on a normal usage.
Whats up with Zenfone 450 showing out of stock when it was never in stock in the first place? Any news on when its going to be out? The specs seem too good for 7k, atleast on paper.
