HP Slatebook PC official, an Android laptop with Tegra 4 at core

HP SlatebookHP has introduced its first Android laptop in the form of HP Slatebook PC. Powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, it runs on Android 4.3 and sports a 14-inch full HD display.The device will be joining the likes of Lenovo A10 and Archos Arcbook in the Androidbook arena.

According to HP, the Slatebook will first go on sale in the United States in August with a price-tag of  $399.99.

On the specs front, HP Slatebook PC features 2GB of RAM, upto 64GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It also packs HDMI out, USB 3.0 and dual USB 2.0, and audio mic/headset jack. In addition, the device comes with full support for Google Play, so you can get all the Android apps you need.

There is no word on the release date or pricing in other markets but it should be arriving in more countries in Q3.

In addition, HP has also unveiled a new chromebook, which packs an11.6-inch HD display, 16GB of storage, and 2GB of RAM. The exact processor present in the device in unclear right now. It will be succeeding the company’s earlier launched Chromebook 11.

Dubbed as HP Chromebook, the new chromebook will go on sale for $249.99 next month in Snow White and Ocean Turquoise colours.
