Moto E bookingsAs we reported a couple of hours ago, Moto E is out of stock at Flipkart but don’t worry. Flipkart has announced that the consumers, who plan to buy the phone, can book it now but their order will only be delivered after the new stocks arrive.

Flipkart is hoping to get the next shipment of Moto E smartphones from Motorola in about seven to ten days. So, you will have wait till then, however if you book the phone now, you get the e-retailer’s launch day offers and your order will be ready in line to get shipped as soon as the next stocks reach Indian shores.

As per the import data on Zauba, Flipkart had imported over 55,000 Moto E units for the launch day and all of them seems to have been sold.  To remind you, Moto E had gone on sale at 00:01 AM earlier today and the phone was out of stock within the first 17 hours.

This sell-out is not surprising given the aggressive pricing for the phone by Motorola. The phone comes with 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core processor, Android 4.4 and KitKat. It also packs a 5MP rear camera, 1980 mAh battery and dual-SIM support.

Update: Flipkart seems to be struggling with Moto E rush. First, all of the available stock at Flipkart was sold out within 17 hours of Moto E going on sale. After which , the retailer began taking reservations for the phone with delayed shipping and now, after 24 hours of taking reservations, it has stopped doing that too. Flipkart is just showing the phone as out of stock right now and promises that it will come soon. We are sctivly tracking the availability of Moto E stock at Flipkart and will let you folks know as soon as something new pops up.

Update 2: Moto E is back in stock, rush to Flipkart now.. 🙂

Update 3: Moto E is out of stock again. No word on when it is coming back.

Update 4: Flipkart has recieved new stock but it is using this stock to ship the existing order and is not taking new orders right now.

  1. if you are going to make a hands-on or review of moto E, do compare it with Sony E1 Dual’s screen quality, camera quality and the overall feel of both devices. Sony might probably reduce the price of it if the sales doesn’t go well. Your review might be helpful at that time

  2. Its not available still as your second update says It is available…Please help with the same
