Moto E in IndiaMoto E is here and it is surprisingly affordable. Clearly, Motorola is quite serious when it says that it plans to bring the feature-phone users to the smartphone world.

Priced at just INR 6,999 in India, Motorola’s new Moto E smartphone packs the best of both hardware and software world, which makes the phone a no-brainer purchase of anyone looking to grab a good budget Android smartphone.

There are a couple of things that one might miss but once you look at the price, they all seem like reasonable omissions. The phone will be competing with devices from both home-grown Indian vendors as well as multinational giants but we believe that Moto E comes out clearly on the top by being an overall great package.

  1. Moto name itself makes it a better mobile.

    Nokia with official Android would have been better.

    There are other things in favor of Moto E like Gorilla Glass 3, Water Splash proof screen and Latest Android (4.4) along with guaranteed future update. These features were non existent in sub 10K category phones till now.

  3. qualcomm tried its best to mess up the naming system. snapdragon 200 includes Cortex A5 quadcore, Cortex A7 dualcore as well as quadcore.
    other than Nokia X which is powered by S4 Play (Cortex A5) all others have Snapdragon 200 either powered by dualcore or quadcore as said in the article.
