Indian e-retail giant Flipkart has once again partnered with Motorola India to exclusively release a smartphone in the country. The smartphone is the brand new budget Android phone ‘Moto E,’ which will go on sale in over three hours from now (mid-night tonight, May 14, 00:01 hrs).
Like the Moto X and Moto G launches, Flipkart is providing various launch day offers to the consumers, who will order a Moto E on May 14. These offers are valid for only one day, so if plan to grab a Moto E, May 14 is the day for you.
According to Flipkart, launch day Moto E buyers will get 50 percent discount on all official Motorola covers (Like coloured Motorola Shells or Grill Shells). The e-commerce website is also giving 50 percent discount on Transcend 8GB memory cards for the Moto E buyers. This is particularly useful as almost all Moto E buyers will buy a microSD card given just 4GB of on-board storage on the phone, so why not get it at a much discounted price. Lastly, the site is also giving a bunch of pre-selected free e-Books if you buy Moto E on the launch day and install Flipkart e-Book app on your Moto E smartphone. The free e-Books include Speed Post by Shobha De, The Collected Novels by Khushwant Singh, Night Train at Deoli and Other Stories by Ruskin Bond, Wise & Otherwise by Sudha Murthy, and Life Tree by APJ Abdul Kalam.
How does these offers work?
As Flipkart states on its product page, it is very simple, buy a Moto E on May 14 anytime between 00:01 to 11:59. No need to add the memory card or Motorola covers to your Moto E order. Wait for the acknowledgement, which will be sent through email by May 21, 2014, to all customers purchasing Moto E with launch day offer. Then login to Flipkart anytime between May 22 and May 31, select and buy Transcend 8GB class 4 memory card listed by seller WS Retail and/ or original Moto E back covers listed by seller WS Retail and place your order. The discount will be automatically applied on purchase of the items. Make sure to follow these instruction, also check the Offer Terms & Conditions once again at the time of ordering your Moto E.
