Nexus 7 (2013) to be available on Verizon starting Feb 13

New Nexus 7Verizon has announced that the Nexus 7 (2013) tablet will finally be available on its network. The tablet will go on sale beginning February 13 online and in stores. It will be priced at $349.99 without contract or $249.99 with a two-year contract for a limited time.

Verizon has also revealed that consumers who have already purchased Nexus 7 (2013) LTE, they will also be able to activate their device on the Verizon Wireless network after they download the latest software update.

To remind you, Nexus 7 (2013) LTE originally went on sale in September 2013 in Google Play USA. Although carrying the compatible frequencies, the tablet was not certified by Verizon until now. So, if you were waiting to use the tablet on Verizon, you are finally in luck.

Nexus 7 (2013) features Android 4.4, 7-inch 1920x1200p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. It also packs 32GB of storage, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera and 3950 mAh battery.

“The 7-inch full HD display creates a great movie-watching experience and the compact design makes one-handed use easy. Google Now is also available so users can get real-time information such as weather, traffic updates, news and more based on location,” Verizon noted in a press note.
