Asus introduces PadFone E

Asus PadFone EAsus has silently added a new PadFone device to its portfolio. Dubbed as Asus PadFone E, the new device appeared on the Asus website today. It comes with a 4.7-inch smartphone and 10.1-inch tablet dock.

Among other specifications, the PadFone E features Android 4.3, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and microSD card slot. It also packs 1820 mAh battery (5000 mAh battery in dock), dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.

The PadFone E will be released in Johnnie Walker Black and Pearl White colours, however the exact availability or pricing details are mystery. Android Central notes that it could be released in Taiwan first for a price around $560 (including dock).

With the introduction of PadFone E, Asus now has a total of eight PadFone devices including PadFone mini 4.3, PadFone mini, PadFone X, Padfone Infinity, new PadFone Infinity, PadFone 2, and original PadFone.
