Alcatel One Touch introduces Pop 7, Pop 8 tablets & Pop C9 phablet
Alcatel One Touch, the international brand from TCL, has announced two new Android tablets and one phablet at CES today. Part of the company’s Pop sub-brand, the new tablets are Pop 7, Pop 8 and the phablet is dubbed as Pop C9.
According to the company, both tablets will go on sale sometime in Q1, 2014. While the Pop 7 3G version will retail for €149, the 3G version of Pop 8 will sell at €199. Pricing and availability details of Pop C9 are unclear.
Coming to the tablet specific details, Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 features a 7-inch 1024x600p display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The tablet also packs Android 4.2.2, and 2MP rear camera.
The Alcatel One Touch Pop 8 also sports almost the same specs as Pop 7 apart from the presence of 1.GHz quad-core processor and 8-inch 1280x800p display.
On the other hand, Alcatel One Touch Pop C9 features 5.5-inch qHD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 2500 mAh battery. It will be released in a total of five colour options – Bluish Black, Cherry Red, Full White, Hot Pink or Fresh Turquoise.
