Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 spotted at FCC, on way for early 2014 debut
Samsung’s upcoming 8.4-inch tablet has cleared another regulatory hurdle in the form of FCC and is well on its way for early-2014 debut.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, which is going by the model number SM-T320, was sighted on FCC website yesterday and it confirmed that the tablet comes with Bluetooth 4.0 LE and dual-channel Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. Although the FCC listing does not declare the screen-size of the tablet, listing on import database Zauba.com revealed that SM-T320 is indeed a tablet with 8.4-inch display.
There are no other details available at this point but FCC clearance suggests that the tablet should be arriving in the next few weeks and chances are that we will see an announcement at CES 2014.
As per previous rumours, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will sport an AMOLED display and will cater to the premium segment, thus we can anticipate the presence of at-least quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, front and rear cameras as well as Android 4.3 (if not Android 4.4). The tablet could also appear as a replacement for this year’s Note 8.0 tablet.
We will keep an eye out for more details and will update you guys as soon as we hear something new.
