Nexus 5 order shipment detailsGoogle has already started shipping the first Nexus 5 orders made at Google Play in India today. We have got multiple confirmations that consumers have started getting their order shipment details. The company seems to be using Blue Dart for shipping Nexus 5 orders; however it might opt for a different courier depending on your location.

We can expect the first Nexus 5 orders to reach consumers by November 22 or even tomorrow.

To remind you, Google started selling Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) devices in Google Play India earlier today. While the Nexus 5 is being sold at INR 28,999 (16GB) and INR 32,999 (32GB), the Nexus 7 has been priced starting INR 20,999.Nexus 5 order shipment details

      2. thats same for any country an play store… credit card is the fail safe way for them to make sure they are paid when u purchase anything.. if ur account has no money the processw will fail with a debit card…

I m with you 🙂 ordered 32 Gb pretty early in the morning(to be precise so i got my order receipt 2 minutes before the official announcement came from nexus in their google+ page)… all we can do is wait but i defintely hope that the shipment should reach well before the weekend so that i could get my hands dirty and test my N5

  1. they should really not say 1-2 days for shipping if they don’t ship in two days. it is very dishonest.

    compare that to flipkart who will say 5-7 days and deliver in 3 days.

    1. They are not saying 1-2 days shipping. They say the phone will leave their warehouse in 1-2 days, after that it might take a couple of days to reach you.
      Anyways, when did you place your order?

      1. i agree.. i have had really bad experiences with flipkart too.. but here they said on the order receipt the date by which they will ship it and they sent mine before time.. infact they said it will leave the warehouse by 24th!.. I have already recd the phone today!

  2. Just received shipment info mail. They are sending Nexus 5 32GB White via Aramex (not blue dart) to Calcutta. Expecting by Monday (unless they work on Sunday).

    1. aramex and all major couriers don’t work on sunday in India.. except for the expensive priority services.. which google is not using. I got mine through normal bluedart.

        Give them a call on the call center.. I got my shipment mail this morning too.. I count see my info online either, but i called them up and found and picked up my package from their office in the evening.. dint want to wait till monday!

        center.. They said it is not a valid no to me when I gave them my tracking
        no….I have no idea what am supposed to do now…

      4. I called Blue Dart Customer Care no. in the morning they said its a old tracking number that got delivered on sep 23rd…. Then i called Google and raised this issue , they said they will reply with in 48hrs….then i call local Blue dart office …They said they are not able to view any order in that tracking number ….. Planning to and check out blue dart office here in pune tomorrow…

      5. seems like a human error while entering your tracking number.. i guess it should be delivered today..
        But do hold Google up for this error. Lets c what they respond.

  4. I ordered my 32gb white Nexus 5 at 6:25 AM on 20 Nov. Got my shipping confirmation only today morning but Bluedart still doesn’t show the item even though it is almost the end of the day. Can someone tell me which city are the Nexus 5s are being shipped from?

      1. Obviously it cannot be Honkong. Bluedart does not handle international courier. It is Mumbai as per Bluedart’s tracking info.

Ordered on 19 got shipment info on 22 night, now its 24 but unable to track shipment so called Bluedart CC and got to know that racking number is used and old, shipment linked with tracking number is delivered on 9th august, AS its sunday i cant get to talk with any bluedart person for more info, and sadly my spoken english is so bad so cant talk to google also. So will wait till tomorrow, Those who have got package can see status of tracking number ?

    1. i can see the status it says returned to Bhiwandi branch, talked to google and they are saying once returned cannot be sent again. Aramex says no shipping address….. dont know whats going on>>>

      google with the tracking no on 22 , till date didn’t receive the device and
      contacted Blue dart, said the same thing that the number is an used one .
      Raised my concern to Google , they are checking into it and said will get back
      with in 48 hrs… totally disappointed …
      Update me here if anything comes up…Will do the same…

  6. shipping company (Aramex) has returned the shipment to google because they havent given info regarding shipment address and mode of purchase… please help if anyone has the same kind of problem, i have contacted google support through but the problem is not resolved.

    1. Did you call Aramex? Shipment details should have receiver location details. Mine is also w/them, showing “Out for delivery”…let see.

      1. i called aramex mumbai but they are saying they have returned the shipment as there was no address i dont understand any of this. Its very immature, who would ship without any shipping address

      2. ask aramex why did they accept the package without address.. I think aramaex did a goof-up. Google had put up an invoice on top of my package.. with invoice and price!

      3. i called up aramex they said no info as such so sent it back to google warehouse. i think its money lost….such bad service on google and no one to help..

      4. Dont worry.. there might be a little delay.. but money wont be lost. Call up google and explain to them that the courier is saying this and ask them to send the product immediately.

      5. i have already called up google already and you what they are saying that the product is delivered(according to them) and that i should talk to the courier company and when i ask info from the aramex they say they have returned it. i tracked the consignment it does say the product is in the warehouse.
        and these overseas support group half the time they dont understand what am saying…. have emailed my purchase details ( to the support group) half a dozen times.
        but the only reply will get back to you….
        so bad

      6. google ususally takes 48 hours to respond to issues. if aramex has returned it to GOOGLE. They will update the same on play store soon and issue a refund.

      8. I understand your concern, but i guess Google is still figuring out their distribution channel in india. The only reason I bought it off Play store, is that I want them to release more products to India faster. The phone is available much cheaper on ebay. (using coupons and deals)

      9. Google won’t charge your card until it’s shipped to your address. They only block the amount in your card. They will release it once product returned to Google.

        I had similar experience while purchasing iPhone. Supplier people and Airtel called me up and said due to technical reasons my preordered iPhone cannot be shipped to Calcutta (there was stupid sales tax laws). They refunded entire amount within 48hrs and I bought it from local dealer same day.

        You’ll get refund too.

    2. My device too returned, bluedart says they got request from sender not to deliver and return the package, So emailed to google about the matter.

      1. Dont complain, just inform to google support (I guess you did it). Devices are being sent in large quantity and its new for Google (GagetGuru, i think) and our beloved courier Blue-Aram. May be you have to wait some more time, till then give your and my love to your existing phone.

I Got my device at 2 PM today (Not seen personally, my bro informed me, i am at office now), To get my Device i only emailed to Google Support Nothing else, No email replies from google yet, But it looks like sender have made some mistake that’s why he asked not to deliver and re-sent other shipment, Shipped by Bluedart this time too. Dont worry you will get your device, Goodluck bro.

  8. very poor service by google shipping the products without shipping address, aramex told me they have returned the consignment back to the warehouse but google still is not giving any solid answer on what went wrong. i guess there was a break in the chain of command somewhere and we are being held responsible.

  9. for me the package was to be delivered at chennai from Mumbai but the package was routed to Cochin by BLUEDART..not sure if it was an error from Google or Bluedart…

    ordered on 20 th November,received shipment mail on 23 rd and still waiting..

  10. this seems some kind of scam by google and aramex. google sent be a dispatch mail on 21st. consignment sent through aramex. phone calls to aramex tells me that there is a problem with the address and i should contact google. mails to google are unanswered. meanwhile even after 6 days the phone is still somewhere in mumbai with aramex.

    1. very bad on part of google when i contacted them they asked me to contact aramex who inturn asked me to contact Google felt as if like a ping pong ball from one end to the other, all this for no fault of ours …. lesson learnt never buy pre paid…… i am loosing my patience … after tomorrow will start lambasting them !!!!

      1. Finally was able to track my order!!! Google said it was shipped by BlueDart and gave some invalid tracking number.. Called aramex just to check and gave my mobile number.. Surprise surprise.. they were shipping it and it got shipped on 26th and i Ordered on 20th !!

      1. the tracking number I got through the mail from google was an old one which had been delivered on 23rd of sep to a different name and address.. came to know this when I called up customer care of blue dart… I checked with google they are yet to reply… but nothing matters now as I got my device….

My parcel was supposed to be shipped with blue dart but now its coming via Aramex. Got the tracking number as well. Thanks Rajiv for the start really appreciate it 🙂

  13. I got the information from google that my order has been shipped by bluedart on 20th and they provided a tracking number. But till now I have not received my order. Can anyone please help me out what I should do? I have been crazily contacting Bluedart and Google people but to no avail.

    1. Is the tracking number Valid? Second call customer support India “1800 108 8485” not USA they can help you better.

  14. I had placed the Order on November 19 & Got the shipping notification on November 22 informing it was shipped through Blue Dart. However, the Docket number provided was wrong & could not get any help from Google. Today, I had received the Nexus 5 from Blue Dart & it was seen that actual shipment was taken place only November 25

  15. Got my nexus today (Guwahati) aramex had ordered on the 19th of November. And yes Google is giving away head phones with the phone…….
    Still it was a harrowing experience…. buying the phone then it got lost in transit with no address, got sent back to the warehouse then again sent to me….the worst part was google support could not support at all…nor did they send any email saying it was on its way , now they have sent me a feed back form regarding the purchase made on play store and the support teams assistance.
    I could write a best seller!!!!!!

    PS for those who havent got the device i think it will reach soon!!!! got kitkat for my old horse galaxy s i9000 not bad!!

  19. Bros, I plan to order one tonight. Just tell me how much time it’ll take to be here in Delhi..
    I’m afraid that it’ll take more than a week. some bullshit mobile dealers selling it here for 35k giving the reason( it takes 2-3months for the phone to reach).

    1. it takes 1-2 days for your phone to leave the warehouse and in india it will deliver in 2-7 business days.remember the time your phone leaves will vary depending on availability of phone usually its 1-2 days it will be mentioned in the screen after you’ve maid payment.

  20. Guys, who have recently brought the device from google play India, can you check and confirm, which batch number you have on the package/phone? is it 310, 311 or 312 or higher?
