Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inchAlmost a month after the availability of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch 3G version, the company has now started selling the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet in the Indian market. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 210, the tablet is now available at various online retailers including Flipkart and Snapdeal for INR 12,499.

The specifications of Galaxy Tab 3 210 are same as Tab 3 211, which include a 7-inch 1024x600p resolution display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 and 4000 mAh battery. The tablet also comes with 3MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1GB of RAM.

With these specifications and the price, the tablet competes with Samsung’s own Galaxy Tab 2 310 (INR 10,990) and Google’ Nexus 7 Wi-Fi version (16GB, INR 11,999).

Should you buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 210?

Probably not. Both the competing tablets that was talked about earlier are better value for money. Samsung’s 2012 model Tab 2 311 sports almost the same specifications but for almost INR 1,500 less and Nexus 7 has better specifications (apart from the lack of memory card slot and rear camera). So, I would suggest, you choose one of the other two options rather than going for Tab 3 210.

Other Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 models currently on sale in the country:

To remind you, Samsung is also selling both 3G and Wi-Fi only versions of its 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 for INR 24,395 and INR 21,945 respectively. In addition, the company also retails the 3G version of 7-inch Tab 3, which costs INR 16,900.

There is no word on the availability of 10-inch Galaxy Tab 3 in the Indian market.
