HTC One max appears in another set of leaked images
To pack S4 Pro processor instead of Snapdragon 800
HTC One max leaks are in full flow these days. It has been just over 48 hours when we showed you two images of HTC One max sitting quietly with HTC One and we already have another set of images showing this upcoming phablet from HTC.
The new images don’t show anything new apart from the Sense user interface, which is reportedly going to get a version bump to Sense 5.5 in HTC One max. There is no word on what is going to be different from Sense 5.0 in 5.5 but we don’t expect much apart from odd refinements.
Contrary to prior reports, HTC One max is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 (4 x 1.7GHz).

In related news, evleaks has posted that HTC One max will come with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor instead of the rumoured 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. It is certainly a downer but we suspect that HTC was concerned about the pricing of a Snapdragon 800 powered One max. By including slightly old S4 Pro processor, HTC will be able to keep the pricing of One max down, which should help in the device sales.
