Lenovo India launches A1000, A3000 and S6000 Android tablets

Lenovo A3000Lenovo has announced the launch of three new Android tablets in the Indian market today including their budget offering A1000, which recently went on sale in the country. The other two tablets include A3000 and S6000.

Talking about the individual tablets, Lenovo A1000 packs a 7-inch 1024x600p resolution display, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The tablet also comes with 0.3MP front camera, Android 4.1, and 2G support with voice-calling.

Lenovo A3000 also features a 7-inch display with 1024x600p resolution, however it comes with 3G and voice-calling support, Android 4.2, 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The tablet also packs 3500 mAh battery, microSD card slot and the usual connectivity options.

Coming to Lenovo S6000, the tablet sports a 10.1-inch 1280x800p resolution display and features 1.2GHz quad-core processor from Mediatek, Android 4.2, 1GB of RAM and 6300 mAh battery. In addition, S6000 packs 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

Pricing and availability

According to Lenovo, A1000 is now available across India for INR 8,999, while the other two tablets A3000 and S6000 will go on sale by end-of-August for INR 16,000 and INR 27,000 respectively.

  1. A3000 is poised to challenge samsung tab 3 211. Hope lenovo introduces it pricing aggressively to capture market.

  2. I sincerely hope you got the pricing for the S6000 wrong. How does a product thats currently available on Amazon for $249 (roughly Rs.15,500) become almost double Rs.27,000 the moment it lands in India? Really absurd if its true.
