Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for Galaxy Grand duos smartphone in Russia. The update is now available via Kies or over-the-air.
There is no word on when the same update will be released for other regions including India but considering the fact that Samsung India has been pretty fast with other Grand updates in the past, we expect to see Android 4.2.2 reaching Indian Grand duos users soon.
According to a report on SamMobile, the Android 4.2.2 update for Galaxy Grand duos brings support for lockscreen widgets, quick setting toggles in notification bar, improvement task switching and Daydream support.
In addition, the update also brings performance enhancements, Touchwiz improvements including new widgets, homescreens etc.

any body when 4.2.2 is releasing from mobile…??
Perhaps galaxy grand update has started rolling out in India. Today When I tried update from my mobile I got a msg that “software update will be available to users in order of their request. Pl try later.” I hope I get it soon.
It is 480MB data download to update the software and it will install automatically, you need a good speed braodband to download the 480 mb data.
Samsung galaxy grand after updation andriod 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 the system is very slow .
After the update the system has become slow and hangs often plus the option of add call for conference call has been removed n doesn’t make another call….earlier system n working was better….plz get it bak

Samsung grand doesn’t show notification for software update ,even tried manually setting , about phone , software update , check for update nothing happened PLEASE HELP TO UPDATE MY PHONE (Through to get notification on my phone and update it )
