Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE coming to AT&T in the coming weeks

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0AT&T has announced that it will be releasing the LTE version of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet in the coming weeks. The telecom operator wasn’t any more specific than that and has also not revealed that pricing information right now.

“Demand for 4G LTE-connected tablets is growing, and we’re offering our customers the most choice and the best portfolio.  The Galaxy Note 8.0 is an awesome tablet and flies on 4G LTE,” said Chris Penrose, Senior Vice President – Emerging Devices, AT&T. “We expect customers to be excited about the Galaxy Note 8.0’s versatility that makes its useful for work and entertainment.”

According to a press release issued by AT&T, it will be bundling 50GB of online storage via AT&T Locker to Galaxy Note 8.0 buyers, which will be pushed to the device via a software update soon after the release.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 packs Android 4.1, 1.6 GHz quad core processor, 4,600 mAh battery and eight-inch display with 189 PPI.  Other features of the tablet include 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for up to 32GB expandable memory.

Being a note-series device, Galaxy Note 8.0 also comes with S-Pen as well as bunch of compatible applications. Other software tweaks include multi-window support for better multi-tasking, Air View, and Samsung WatchOn.
