Android 4.3, White Nexus 4 launching on June 10: Report

Jelly BeanAndroid 4.3 might not have made an appearance at Google I/O, but that doesn’t mean we will have to wait for it a long time. A report at Android and Me suggests that Google is planning to announce Android 4.3 on June 10.

Although the date is yet to be officially confirmed, it looks possible that we will see Android 4.3 in less than a month. As per Android and Me sources, Google intentionally booted Android 4.3 from Google I/O 2013as it wanted to showcase their ability to release new services and APIs without updating the Android versions, which they did.

Anyways, Android 4.3 isn’t really going to be a major Android update. It is already confirmed to be packing the native support for Bluetooth Smart and Smart Ready and we can expect similar platform friendly tweaks here and there.

Android 4.3 isn’t the only thing that Google is going to announce on June 10, Android and Me also notes that the elusive White Nexus 4 is really going to be available via Google Play; yes it is not a mirage of something else.

They were able to get their hands on one unit of White Nexus 4 at Google I/O and have also learnt that Google will release it alongside Android 4.3 on June 10.
