Samsung Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket debut in India

Samsung has announced two more Galaxy smartphones – Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket in the Indian Market. Priced at INR 26,900 and INR 8,150 respectively, both the models will be shortly available in the country.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket runs on Android 2.3, which is a slight disappointment as we already have ICS smartphones.

These devices are designed to deliver a powerful performance and offer an immersive user experience.

Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Mobile and IT, Samsung India said.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket

  • 2.8-inch display
  • 832MHz processor
  • 2MP fixed focus camera
  • 3GB Internal memory
  • 1200 mAh battery

Both the smartphones also come with 3.5mm audio Jack, FM Radio, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and aGPS.

  1. GSII is (26,500/-) at ngpay, cheaper than s advance, best galaxy phone ever till now and pocket will be heavy for pocket better to go for galaxy y, screen is bigger than pocket for lower price (6800/-).

  2. Samsung Galaxy S Advance is overpriced looking at current GSII price reduction. One would prefer One V instead of this. Only SuperAmoled screen does not give you edge over other products.

    The diff between Galaxy S Plus and this is presence of LED Flash, which was missing till now.

    Wait for an actual Retail market release, price will be surely be in line with Galaxy R.

  3. I am heck sure these wont be the final prices as you can get a s2 at 26k and a nice galaxy fit with 5mp cam, better screen etc for below 9k so i am sure these wont be the final prices because samsung wont do any stupidity like this

  4. Waiting the price of this phone to get down to the price of around 20K and then surely will be buying this phone 🙂
