CyanogenMOD 9 input settings detailed in video released by CM Team

CyanogenMOD 9 Settings

As the time draws near for stable builds to start appearing of the most widely-respected and installed custom ROM series known to the Android community, the CyanogenMOD team has once again risen above the standard and has released a “user manual” video of sorts, detailing what all of those mysterious input settings mean and what they do.

At times, all of these options can be a bit daunting for a new user. Heck, I have been running CM ROMs for as long as they have been available for public consumption and even I still find myself wondering, “What does this¬†button do?”

The latest video from the team is the third of what looks to be a greatly-detailed tutorial series that will give each and every user who installs CyanogenMOD 9 a wonderful set of visual references and the ability to have complete control of their device — without having to do all the guess work and trial-and-error to determine what each of the settings actually do.

The progress that this project has made since its inception is utterly incredible. I remember rocking some of the first CM builds back on my G1 and they were amazing, even back then. Now, we’ve come a long way since Donut, Eclair and Froyo and there’s no looking back. On to the future of Android. On to the future of CyanogenMOD. It’s going to be one helluva ride.
