As reported a few days ago, Intel and Lava have officially confirmed their partnership today and announced the launch of Lava XOLO X900 Android smartphone. It will be available in the Indian market sometime in the next quarter on Airtel & Aircel.
Based on the Medfield reference design, Lava XOLO X900 features Android 2.3 (upgradable to Android 4.0), 1.6GHz Atom Z2460 processor, 4.03-inch display, 8MP rear camera, 3MPfront camera, HDMI, NFC, HSPA+ and 1460mAh battery.

With XOLO, we intend to now serve the discerning and fast-paced smartphone customer, which is where this collaboration with Intel is critical to us,” said Vishal Sehgal, co-founder and director, Lava International, in a statement.
There is no word on pricing of Lava XOLO X900 right now.
