Samsung Galaxy 680 now available in India for INR 33571

Samsung has started selling Galaxy Tab 680 aka Tab 7.7 in the Indian market. It is now available for INR 33,571, which is about 1.5K less than the previously anticipated price of INR 34,900.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 features Android 3.2, 1.4GHz dual core processor, 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280x800p resolution, Wi-Fi, 3G, 3MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

Pricing is certainly on the up-side, but then you also get one of the best tablet displays in Tab 680. You can wait for the price correction, which is inevitable these days, and within a few weeks Tab 680 would be retailing somewhere around 30K. Or, you can opt for other tablets in company’s portfolio like Tab 620 for INR 26,499 or Tab 750 for INR 32,500 or Tab 730 for INR 29,500.

Other features of Samsung Galaxy Tab 680:

  • Touchwiz UX for tablets
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB Internal storage
  • 5100 mAh battery
  • 196.7 x 133 x 7.89 mm (340 g)

  1. It seems the Indian version (Galaxy tab 680)doesn’t have a 2G network. This will not fit the ordinary man in India. I would rather go for the global edition of the galaxy tab 7.7

    • @attahiru Why do you think that. If a device is 3G, it always the backward compatibility to 2G networks.. even if you get a 4G device, you will be able to access 3G/2G networks when required. There is nothing like a 3G device with no 2G access, not in consumer electronics at-least.

  2. The 3G locked version of the galaxy tab 7.7 means that you can only use the tab to make cellular calls on 3G network only. Thus, in the absence of 3G network as is the case in many towns and villages can’t make phone calls on 2G network.
