Samsung has launched its first dual-SIM Android smartphones today. Dubbed as Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, both are entry-level devices and come with Gingerbread on-board. Company has promised to release them in the select markets starting next month.

Part of company’s Galaxy Y series, which is targeted to youngsters, Galaxy Y Duos features 3.14 inch display, and 832MHz processor. You can check out the full list of specifications below.

On the other hand, Galaxy Y Pro Duos will cater to QWERTY lovers as well as small enterprise market. It comes pre-loaded with enterprise apps such as VPN, EAS, Afaria, CCX, and has storage Encryption on-board. It features 2.6 inch display, and 3MP camera.

Availability:

Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos would be available in Russia starting January 2012 followed by Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southwest Asia, Middle East and Africa.Samsung Galaxy Y Duos will also be released in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Middle East, Africa and China starting Janaury 2012.

  1. Hey, gsmarena says they’re both dual standby! What does that mean? Do you need to switch sims manually? Or can it operate both except call waiting(dual active)?

  2. I think it is because rupee is too low here against dollar, every company has increased prices upto 10%

  3. I dont understand why the big companyes are not placing more quality dual sim phones. The one from samsung has only 160mb ??what to do with this today when everything is about data and big size memory.
