Sony Ericsson has officially announced Xperia Pro and neo V in the Indian market today. If you recall, we have already reported about the market availability of Xperia neo V, so it is just a formality for the smartphone. On the other hand, globally announced way back in Feb at Mobile World Congress along with Xperia Arc, Pro is going to be finally available in the country.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is company’s third Android smartphone with slide-out QWERTY to be released in India. Other two are Xperia Mini Pro and Xperia X10 Mini Pro; both of them come with comparably smaller displays.

SE Xperia Pro features a 3.7-inch display with 854×480-pixel resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.3, 320MB of internal memory, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and HD video recording, and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera. Pricing has not been announced right now, but it is rumored to be around INR 22K.

Lastly, you already know neo V with Gingerbread, 1GHz processor and 5MP camera with VGA secondary cam is selling in the Indian market for INR 17,500.
