Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray priced in India at INR 19K
Sony Ericsson might not have declared the pricing details of Xperia Ray in India, but thanks to the online retail store Flipkart, price of the smartphone has been revealed.
According to a “coming soon” listing on the site, Xperia Ray will sell for INR 18,995, which seems to be a decent pricing for a smartphone, which comes with 1GHz processor, 8.1MP camera, VGA secondary cam and 3.3 display with Mobile Bravia Engine.
Sony Ericsson India has earlier announced Xperia Ray along with Xperia Active at the recently help Qualcomm India On but did not declare the prices of either of the smartphones. The exact availability date is still to be disclosed.

Thanks Sunder for the tip
it should be cheaper because of the screen size
xperia mini has a little smaller display and a 5mp cam instead of 8 and is 7k cheaper
7k more for just o.3″ bigger screen and 3.1 mp more
thats crazy
Can we have the sep list of phones please?
@Nitish Yes, I am working on it. Will post it soon.
Superb pricing… Sony Ericsson should give competitive pricing on all his upcoming and existing xperia series to raise a mark on Market.. Good going…
I would rather go for optimus black which hav better spec than this at same price.
I am waiting for Sony Ericsson Live Walkman, Can you please inform me approx price and date of launch in india!!!!
hello gaurav,
i wanted to know release date of xperia pro and tentative price range? can u just post about it
@prasad we don’t wait to post news, as soon as we know about anything we post it. So if it is not posted than it means we don’t know 🙂
I agree it’s over priced. At 18 k level Motorola defy+ should be a winner with superior features and performance. Moto has come back with a bang in India.
How can you compare the Defy+ or the Optimus Black with the XPeria ray? Don’t forget it has an 8MP camera and all the rest Androids in that price point have 5MP shooters.
Just got my Xperia Ray at INR 12250. Am happy that i got it at the cheapest price in India. It has seller warranty, but how ever it is better than spending extra 5000 at stores. I will not get any repairs for Rs.5000 in 1 Year warranty that Sony Ericsson Gives. Overall, its a good Phone.
Check it if you also want to purchase
