Huawei India bringing flurry of Android smartphones

Huawei India is planning to bring at least four Android smartphones in the next two months, reported KYM.in. These launches seem to follow the release of company’s first Honeycomb tablet MediaPad in the country, which is schedule to go on sale next month.

According to the publication, Huawei will release Vision, Sonic, Boulder and Gaga smartphones. Apart from Vision, all the other smartphones belong to entry-level segment.

To give a quick intro about these upcoming devices, Huawei Vision features Android 2.3, 3.7 inch display, 1GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. On the other hand, Sonic comes with 3.5 inch display, 600MHz processor, Android 2.3 and 256MB RAM.

Both Boulder and Gaga are FroYo smartphones and come with 2.6 and 2.8 inch display respectively.

There is no word on the pricing right now but we expect Vision to be released for a price around 15K and rest below 10K.

  1. Huawei no one is buying their phones in india because of cheap processor and the vision does not have even gpu like adreno/tegra then why the hell they are wasting 1ghz processor in these phones only for looks !!

what?? Huawei doesn’t make their own processors. They use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, that means u get an Adreno 205 GPU (220 if S3) . What do u think Gsmarena has not mentioned the GPU then it doesn’t have one?

  3. I have huawei ideos x6. It have 1 ghz processor and aderno 205 gpu.Huawei phones have decent features in affordable prices.
