ZTE to release Gingerbread powered Light Plus tablet in Sep
ZTE is working on yet another affordable Android tablet, which will be a part of its Light series of pads. Dubbed as Light Plus, it will be powered by Android 2.3.3, no Honeycomb love here.
Other features of ZTE Light Plus include 1GB ROM, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8255 processor, 3.2MP camera, HSDPA, WiFi and microSD support.
It will be launched in September in European market for a price around €250.
There will be a lot more “affordable” tablets coming out as competition heats up however, many of these affordable tablets will be rather useless within a year because apps and Android will outgrow the hardware. So, be careful when purchasing a low end tablet.
