Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to get Gingerbread update starting August

Waiting for Android 2.3 update to arrive on your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, well there is good news. According toSony Ericsson, the unlocked and sim-free version of Xperia X10 will be getting Gingerbread starting August.

Some of the operations versions might be unlucky and would not get the Gingerbread goodness.

Even if there will be some operator kits getting this upgrade, as said before – some of you will not be able to upgrade your customized version of Xperia X10. – SE

Update Features:

  • Wi-Fi & USB tethering, App storage on SD-card etc are included.
  • Customizable horizontal app tray and the media experience widgets from the 2011 Xperia Products
  • An integrated equalizer in the music player
  • It will keep the original camera UI as in the Éclair version.
  • DLNA will not be included.
  • Facebook inside Xperia functionality

    Why dont sony gives this phone secondry cam for video calling ???? otherwise its a nice phone
