Japan becomes second country to get Motorola Xoom
Motorola Xoom is now approaching the land of the rising sun! Japan has become the second country after the US to witness the Xoom launch. Xoom will be available in the second half of April.
KDDI has introduced Android 3.0 powered Motorola XOOM tablet in the country. However, unlike its American counterpart, the Japanese Xoom will only have the WiFi without any 3G or 4G module.
Motorola Xoom is the first Android tablet with Honyecomb on-board. Its other features include a 10.1 inch HD display with 1280×800 resolution, 1GHz dual-core processor, HDMI out, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera for 720p video capture and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting. Motorola Xoom supports up to 10 hours of video playback.
