Civil War, Tsunami, Flooding – after a series of bad omens, Srilankans will finally have something to look forward to – Nexus One smartphones worth USD 13,000 donated by Google.

International developmental organization TagID in collaboration with Sarvodaya (a Srilankan NGO) has plans to put Android handsets directly in the hands of villagers as the “Tools for Education”, “A Window to Knowledge” and “Access to the World’s Information”.

Guys, these people still need 100 further used (but functioning) Android powered handsets and solar chargers from corporate and personal donors from the UK and Canada. Contact Daren@tagdevelopment.org if you can help them reach their target.
