Toshiba to launch more Android tablets next year
Toshiba will be launching more Android tablets globally next year, reported Dow Jones newswire. Toshiba, which unveiled Folio 100 – an Android tablet at IFA trade fair, thinks that market for tablets is very hot right now.
A Toshiba engineer Hideo Kasuya said in an interview that the company is also preparing to release tablets in other parts of the world, including the U.S. and Japan, though the name Folio 100 might not feature among them, Kasuya added.
New tablet will most probably run Android 3.0, which will be more tablet friendly, while other details are being finalized.
