IFA Android Tablet Round Up – Galaxy Tab, Folio 100, Interpad, Elonex eTouch, Hannspree 10", ViewPad 100 & For You Digital MX10
IFA trade Fair is going on in a full swing and we have seen a lot of Android tablets till now. So we decided to bring an Android tablet round up for you.
Samsung Galaxy Tab: The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android tablet with a 7-inch, 1024×600-pixel touchscreen. It’s running Android 2.2 Froyo, has Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0 and DLNA networking. It has front and rear cameras for video calling, with a 3MP job and LED flash on the back. The Tab has a Cortex A8 1GHz processor.
Toshiba Folio 100: Folio 100 will ship with the Google Android 2.2 operating system, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It has 16GB of internal storage, HDMI output, a 1.3MP camera, USB, WiFi, and Bluetooth capabilities and a 3G model will be released in early 2011.
E-Noa Interpad: It’s a 10” capacitive touch device based on a Tegra 2 platform and will launch without 3G, camera and Google applications towards the end of this year at 399 Euros.
Elonex eTouch: The Elonex eTouch will cost 150 Euros or 199 Euros for the 7-inch and 10-inch variants respectively – there’s a resistive touchscreen. The 10-inch model is most of interest – it’s sporting Android 2.1 and runs on a speedy 1GHz LNX ARM processor. There’s 2GB of on board stortage and 256MB of memory, Wi-Fi plus a micro SD slot. There’s also a G Sensor for orientation.
Hannspree 10″: It is a 10 inch tablet with dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra processor, 16GB of storage and runs Android 2.2. The tablet is expected to sell for 399 Euros in Germany starting in November.
ViewSonic ViewPad 100: It’s a tablet with a 10.1 inch display which can dual boot Windows 7 and Google Android 1.6. This model comes with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor. The tablet also has a capacitive multitouch display, 1GB of RAM and a 16GB Solid State Disk for storage. There’s an integrated UMTS/HSDPA modem, 1.3MP webcam, and 2 USB ports. There’s also a mini VGA output.
For You Digital MX10: MX10 with Android 2.1 from South Korea’s For You Digital is a 5 inch tablet, there’s no internal cellular connectivity but the device supports USB host mode, which means you can connect a USB modem from your carrier of choice.
