Samsung to launch Galaxy S simultaneously in 110 countries

Samsung is making a big move this time and a very rare one. Samsung will be launching Galaxy S, its next big Android smartphone simultaneously in 110 countries.
As far as I can remember, this would be for the first time in telecom history. Galaxy S is surely the device worthy of buying, but will Samsung’s move pay off?

We do not know about a specific launch date, but rumors suggest that the launches with start soon and continue for the coming days in different countries.

For the launch of Galaxy S, Samsung is in contract with all the major telecom operators like Orange in France, SingTel from Singapore, Deutsche Telecom from Germany and similarly in others.

Talking about the device, it will come with Android 2.1 on-board (will get Android 2.2 later), 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera capable of shooting 720p video, 1GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB storage (with microSD support too) and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
