Real Player for Android beta launches in Android (Update)

Real Networks today launched a public beta version of RealPlayer for Android. The application functions as an all-in-one media app, handling audio, video, and image files. It supports standard codecs including H.264, MPEG4, MP3, and JPG. I have been waiting for this for so long to play my ‘.RM’ music files on my Android device.

– RealPlayer supports all of the core Android media codecs and formats including MPEG-4, H.264, MP3 and JPEG.

– Quickly browse or search your personal library with intuitive navigation and simple to use touch-screen menus. You can also rate your music to create a playlist of your favorite songs.

– With RealPlayer for Android you can simultaneously download up to 5 non-DRM protected media files to your phone.

Update: It can not even play Real Media files. That is such a disappointment,
