Toshiba releases firmware update for Folio 100
In the bid to make a disappointing Android tablet useful, Toshiba yesterday released a firmware update for Folio 100.
According to The Tech Blog, update brings:
1) screen/soft-touch responsiveness
2) Lag fixes

Toshiba Folio 100 Android tablet now shipping across Europe
While we have seeing Galaxy Tab launches every day, remember way back in IFA Trade Fair, Toshiba also showed off, its Android tablet Folio 100. Company has announced that it has begun the distribution of Toshiba Folio 100 across Europe.
Toshiba Folio 100 comes with Android 2.2, Nvidia® Tegra™ 2, 10.1” capacitive multi-touch display, 16 GB on-board storage, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, WLAN (802.11 b/g/n), Mobile Broadband (soon available in certain models and countries), DLNA® compatible, Supports Adobe® Flash 10.1. and a Webcam with 1.3 MPixel.

Toshiba makes Folio 100 Android tablet official; coming Q4, 2010

After Samsung, Toshiba also introduced its Android tablet. It is called Folio 100. It will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2010 for 399 Euros (Wi-Fi only version).
Talking about the specifications, Folio 100 will ship with the Google Android 2.2 operating system, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It has 16GB of internal storage, HDMI output, a 1.3MP camera, USB, WiFi, and Bluetooth capabilities and a 3G model will be released in early 2011.
