Asus makes good on its promise as usual, Transformer Prime update rolling out now
Over the past few days, we’ve been talking about an update that was supposed to be rolling out to the Asus Transformer Prime. At first, we weren’t sure what the update entailed or when it would be available. Then, we found out that Face Unlock among a handful of other features and enhancements would be included and that Asus was targeting March 29th to begin rolling out the update. That was yesterday and this is today — March 29th — and just as promised Asus has once again delivered.

Samsung says it has shipped over 5 million Galaxy Note’s since October
Wanna talk numbers for just a second? Okay. Let’s talk numbers. In fact, let’s talk 5 million of them. Samsung has announced that they have already surpassed that staggering count in Galaxy Note shipments since the device’s launch last October. The device had already blown past 1 million shipped in December, just 2 months after the crossbreed phablet hit the streets.

NVIDIA dropped the biggest bomb at CES so far and announced at its press conference that it is going to launch a Tegra 3 tablet in partnership with Asus that will come with Android 4.0 on-board and cost only $249. Yes, a quad core Ice Cream Sandwich tablet so cheap.
Asus’s upcoming Android tablet leaked, launching at CES
It seems Asus isn’t going to lose out on all the action at CES, just because it has already launched its flagship Honeycomb tablet. A press shot of company’s upcoming Android tablet has leaked online.
Rumor has it that we will see it getting launched at CES this month. There is no word on the exact name of this tablet. Currently, there are two contenders – one, it might be called Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Mini and it would launch with a mini keyboard dock. Details are shy on the specs front.
