Galaxy S launch was not only limited to national carrier like Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon, even regional one like US Cellular got it.
Samsung will also be launching Galaxy on US Cellular network without any name change as happiness with other operators. It is the same device as other Galaxy S variants, same specs: four-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, Android 2.1, 5.0-megapixel camera and much more.

Many tech blogs who picked up the story from our blog erred in understanding the simultaneous launch as a one day event, actually Samsung had planned to launch Galaxy S in 110 markets over the coming month of June, which looks very well in place.

Samsung launches Galaxy S in Europe; Rest to follow

Samsung is making a big move this time and a very rare one. Samsung will be launching Galaxy S, its next big Android smartphone simultaneously in 110 countries.
As far as I can remember, this would be for the first time in telecom history. Galaxy S is surely the device worthy of buying, but will Samsung’s move pay off.
Samsung Galaxy S coming to India in June
The rumours are coming in that Samsung may launch the Android powered Galaxy S in India as early as June 10. This Android biggie comes with Android 2.1 on-board (will get Android 2.2 later), 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, 5MP camera capable of shooting 720p video, 1GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB storage (with microSD support too) and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
There is no official word on price but we can expect it to hover round INR 28,000. As soon as we get the official news, we will let know know, till then you can check out the hands on video here.

Samsung Galaxy S will be making Asian debut coming June, which could mean as early as next week. it will be retailing for a price of this phone is set at Singapore $1,098.
Though the device will initially ship with Android 2.1 (Eclair), this model will enjoy an upgrade to the latest Android 2.2 (Froyo) later.
