The first experimental CyanogenMOD 9 port for Motorola Defy is now available for download. Most of the hardware components are working fine right now, apart from camera, and other small glitches. It goes without saying that this build is not for everyone and only advanced users should try it and help in sorting out the remaining bugs.

Motorola has officially launched Defy+ in the Indian market. It has been priced at INR 19,000, but will be available for a best buy price of INR 17,990. As we have already reported, Defy+ has been available online for last few days and today’s announcement just made it official.

Motorola has started pushing FroYo update for T-Mobile version of Motorola Defy in United States. Update is available via the usual way [Over-The-Air] and you will soon get a notification on your Motorola Defy to update your phone, or you can check directly by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Update.
