It seems Asus has decided to delay the launch of its quad core Android tablet Eee Pad Transformer Prime to early December. The launch was supposed to happen tomorrow, but after Google agreed to help Asus to pre-load Ice Cream Sandwich on the tablet, Asus postponed the release.

Motorola Xoom 2, Xoom 2 Media Edition priced in UK
Motorola’s official press release about Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition launch did not mention the pricing details, but folks over Recombu have got it directly from horse’s mouth at the launch event.
According to the publication, Xoom 2 will be sold for £379.99 (INR 30K), while Xoom 2 Media Edition will be priced at £329.99 (INR 26K). It might not be the greatest pricing, but Motorola seems to have learnt something from its Xoom pricing debacle.
Announced later yesterday, Xoom 2 and Media Edition will be available in UK and Ireland in mid-November, i.e. sometime around next to next week. There is still no word on international launch.
Aakash commercial version coming in December for 3K; followed by an LTE model?

Datawind is all set to launch the commercial version of its Aakash tablet as Ubislate in December in partnership with various telecom operators. This version of the tablet will come with GPRS connectivity unlike the student version which is limited to Wi-Fi connectivity.
