Exclusive: Google files for 'Nexus One' Trademark
Well, you do not need more than this. Google is surely bringing the Google Phone.
As we searched the Trademark Electronic Search System of US Patent & Trademark Office, it revealed that Google has indeed filed a Trademark application for ‘Nexus One‘ on Dec 10.
As many said that after all the hype ‘Nexus One’ could turn out as a mere Google Experience device. So, we now know that is not the case and Nexus One is indeed Google Phone.
Another search for HTC Passion or Bravo did not bring out any results, so HTC is not getting this phone trademarked coz, this is Google Phone
, HTC is only manufacturing it for Google as per their instructions.

Google Nexus One Support page goes online!
The floodgates have opened and leaks about the HTC Nexus One aka the Google Phone are pouring in thick and fast. Guys over Cell Passion have got an anonymous tip about a support page which seems to be the Google support page of Nexus One.
The support page is still under construction though it looks like it is going to be search-based support rather than the usual FAQ-based. The page for Nexus One is http://www.google.com/support/nexusone and there is another coming up for other Android devices http://www.google.com/support/android
"T-Mobile might subsidize Google Phone"
Google will sell a version of its own-branded cellphone for a reduced price to consumers who agree to a service contract from Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile USA, a source familiar with the matter said.
The phone, manufactured by HTC, has a number of code names such as HTC Passion, Dream or Nexus One, and could be available to consumers directly though the Google website as early as January 5, the source said.

HTC hints on the possibility of 'Google Phone'
After the Google Dogfood blog post, now it was the turn of HTC to add fuel to the fire. Digitimes today reported that HTC & Google have rolled out new business model which will help HTC in boosting handset revenues.
Another Report: HTC has also remarked that it is still optimistic about the future prospects of cooperation with Google, without commenting on the recent media reports of the speculated launch of the Nexus One Android phone by Google in 2010, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
New Business Model or Google Phone?
HTC and Google have rolled out a new business cooperation model for the production of the new Android-powered phone, which will not hamper HTC’s policy of not further engaging in the OEM handset business, while still boosting HTC’s OEM revenues in 2010, the paper quoted sources at securities houses as saying.

Nexus One is Google's Dogfood this Holiday Season
The Tech Bloggers on Saturday buzzed with renewed rumors of Google making its own smartphone, after Google said it is internally dabbling with a mobile device.
Google workers are trying out a device that “combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities,” vice president of product management Mario Queiroz said in a blog post.
Google is seeking feedback in a process it refers to as “dogfooding” in which innovations are tested internally before being offered to the public on the basis that employees should be willing to “eat our own dogfood.”
“This holiday season, we are taking dogfooding to a new level,” Queiroz wrote.
“Unfortunately, because dogfooding is a process exclusively for Google employees, we cannot share specific product details. We hope to share more after our dogfood diet.”
The Android-based mobile devices are being shared with Google workers worldwide, according to Queiroz.
The blog post came a morning after Google workers evidently excited about getting “Google phones” exchanged comments on wildly popular microblogging service Twitter.
Separately, the Wall Street Journal reported that Google will sell the device next year directly to consumers and has a name Nexus One.
Nexus One is Google Phone
Google Phone is a reality, thats what I have been saying all along while blogs came with one or the other rumour.
Now, WSJ reported via some reliable sources that Google Phone is called “Nexus One”, and it is being manufactured by HTC which has made it exclusively for and per Google’s Instructions.
It will be sold worldwide unlocked directly to the consumers, so no two year contracts, but price can be a bit of problem for Google to subsidize.
Unlike most other Android phones, Google Phone’s Android OS has been tweaked by Google to make it one of its kind with its own applications and entire experience.
Google Phone confirmed in 'Tweets'
So, once again Google Phone is creating ripples across the tech world. According the several tweets, Google employees have got this feature laden phone for testing.
Techcrunch today reported that various HTC-built unlocked Google Phones running Android 2.1 are in going round the Google offices.
"Google Phone is certain"
Our Google Phone Coverage is reaching a new level. As Gizmodo reports, that their source has seen Google Phone in action.
If their source is not wrong, which is certianly a chance. Then it is certain that we will see Google phone in another month or two in action.
Today only, we have seen HTC Hero running on Android 2.1, there are clear chances that this new version of Android is the platform on which, Google Phone is based.
But I think, this is not all, if Google is doing this than this ought to be much more than Android 2.1. May be another version of Android, which is different from those in market.

'Droid Does' a Time Square on Black Friday
Verizon and Google in partnership with Reuters and R/GA would roll out a “first-of-its-kind” interactive campaign in Times Square, New York. Well now, when someone calls 888-376-4336 between 12:30-2:00pm, and between 6:30-8:00pm and does a Google Search by voice, the results from Google are automatically displayed on the electronic Reuters and NASDAQ signs in Times Square.
On Black Friday, Times Square’s gigantic interactive search-by-voice demo will be running for 20 hours straight. So if you’re in the area and have a chance to take a break from your shopping, or if you want to see your next shopping destination displayed on a Google map on the huge signs, give the demo a try and let us know what you think. And for those of you that aren’t in Manhattan on that day, you can still watch the action via webcam.
