Google has announced at its Q4 earnings call today that over 250 million Android devices have been activated so far around the world and activations continue at the rate of 700,000 per day. Talking about the downloads in Android Market, company has already crossed the 11 billion mark (just around a month after reporting 10 billion downloads).
LG, Google in talks for Nexus style Google TV for version 3.0
Google is currently in talks with LG to provide company with the first access to Google’s next version of Google TV software, much like what it does in the Nexus program for phones. Google release Style Guide for Android app developers
Google has released a design guide that will help Android app developers to create some great user interfaces. Available now, it will be enhanced and improved over the time. According to Google, it is an optional guide for the devs and company does not mean to enforce it.

Motorola partners Intel, promises Atom powered Android devices in 2H

Motorola and Intel have entered into a multi-year, multi-device partnership and we will start seeing the fruits of this deal as early as second half of this year. Motorola is expected to release Android smartphones and tablets late this year, which will be powered by Intel’s Atom processor.
