Huawei today announced that the Huawei Ascend P1 will be available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia through operators and retailers by May 2012, in Latin America from June 2012 and in Europe from summer, with availability in other markets to follow.

Sony has announced in a blog post that it has started rolling out the much awaited Android 4.0 update for three of its 2011 Xperia smartphones. These smartphones include Xperia arc S, neo V and Ray. Other smartphones in the Xperia series – Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman – will be getting the ICS update in May and June months.

Google Currents goes live for International users
Google has finally decided to take its Google Currents Android app to the international users. The app went live for everyone late last night and can be grabbed from Google Play store.
This Flipboard competitor offers nearly 400 publisher editions and over 14,000 self-produced editions of news content. You can also view AndroidOS.in Currents version on the app.
